Origin
Wotan's origins are unclear but some circles postulate that he was born during the Stone Age. After centuries of study, Wotan has mastered the black art of sorcery. In addition to being a master sorcerer, he is also a brilliant scientist who created technological wonders that are far more advanced than modern innovations. As of modern times, Wotan appears as a tall, slender man with green skin, black hair, and purple eyes. He dresses in a red costume with a green cape and green boots.
In a bid to claim more power for himself, Wotan kidnapped Inza Cramer. However, Dr. Fate recently debuted and rescued Cramer, who would become his wife. Since then Wotan has been Dr. Fate's arch-enemy. Wotan constant defeat hinges on the premise that he thinks Dr. Fate's power is primarily from the Helmet of Nabu that he wears and thus underestimates Fate. He recently stormed the Library of Infinity only to be opposed by Dr. Fate and Batman.
