The Penguin often carries an umbrella with him. It is in fact a concealed weapon. Most often, it hides a motorized propeller blade to give him the gift of flight and to escape a theft quickly. It is much like Batman's Utility Belt in that it has just about every implement you can think of; flame thrower, machine gun, propeller and so on. Batman confiscated one umbrella and keeps it on display in the Batcave. He once utilized it while battling the Faceless Hunter.
