Scooby-Doo is the pet and life long companion of Shaggy Rogers. Scooby is a Great Dane and possesses traits undesirable by most breeders; bowed legs, a double chin, and a sloped back. Regardless, he is a rather unique dog who speaks in broken English, is cowardly, and is perpetually hungry. Scooby also has a speech impediment that makes him pronounce most words as if they start with a "R."
