Legends of the Dark Mite!

“I always thought Batman was best suited as a gritty urban crime detective, but now you guys have him fighting Santa’s, and Easter Bunnies!? I’m sorry, but that’s not my Batman.”

The comic con was an event annually held in the fifth dimension. Its full name, as seen on a poster is the Annual comic book, science fiction, fantasy, horror, animation, anime, gaming, action figure, vintage toy, collectable card game, pop culture, & tiddlywinks convention. It was here that Batmite screened a part of Batman the Brave and the Bold to a group of Batman fan boys. When one of the fans states that he prefers the darker Batman Bat Mite responds that although it is a more lighthearted version of the character he is no less valid and true to the characters roots than the tortured avenger crying out for mommy and daddy.

  • The comic con scene could be called the producers' response to fan criticism about making a show of a more lighthearted Batman. In the scene several well known figures can be seen at the developers table such as Andrea Romano, who was done the voice casting for many shows including Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and Paul Dini, one of the most famous comic books writers.
