Requiem for a Scarlet Speedster!

Founded in the 19th Century, Central City is located in Missouri across the Mississippi River from Keystone City. It initially was an important trade hub for the cattle industry. With the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad, Central City's importance expanded to become one of the major travel hubs of the midwest area. It was a destination visited during an Aquaman family vacation.

In the modern age, Central City is home of the super-hero who takes on the mantle of the Flash each generation. The second Flash (Barry Allen), died during a battle with Professor Zoom. The city mourned and erected a memorial and museum in honor of his service. Kid Flash tried his best to carry on his legacy. Two years later, Batman summoned the first Flash and Kid Flash to the Flash Museum to track the ghost of Barry Allen. They discovered Allen was actually in servitude in the 25th century by Zoom and freed him. After defeating Zoom, the four heroes returned to the present. Allen quickly went back to work and took on Heat Wave, Weather Wizard, and Captain Cold as they robbed the First Bank. Some time later, while responding to a distress call from Batman, the Flash was trapped in Mirror Master (Evan McCulloch)'s Mirror Maze and took minutes to defeat him and outwit Abra Kadabra. The Flash continued on and saved Batman but was mistaken for dead by bystanders.
