Black Orchid is a superheroine in the DC Universe
Origin
The Black Orchid is a mystery, not only to villains, but to her fellow heroes as well: Who is she? Where did she gain her powers from? Is she even human? Why does she fight crime? Whatever she may be, she is a truly frightning menace for crime everywhere.
Battling Poison Ivy
In the episode Mask of Matches Malone, Black Orchid, (disguised as one of Poison Ivy's henchwoman) assists Batman in in taking down the villainious Poison Ivy who has taken over the center of Gotham City and turned it into a giant forest. She takes down most of the henchmen and knocks out poison ivy and dissapears before Batman gets a chance to thank her.
Powers
Black Orchid is a combination of Superman and Batman: Like Superman, she has super strength and speed, invulnerability, and can fly. Like Batman, she's a detective, and a master of disguise. She also seems to have the ability to control plants.
